Hospital restaurants make menus healthier

The revamped Terrace Cafe inside Gaston Memorial Hospital near Charlotte, N.C., now limits mac-and-cheese to one day a week and bakes the popular potato wedges and chicken fingers that were formerly fried. The eatery is one of many hospital restaurants that have created healthier menus as part of an effort to help employees stay fit and set a healthy example for the community.
