Colo.-based firm agrees to buy power from new wind farm

Colorado-based Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association has agreed to purchase power from the recently-finished 67-megawatt Colorado Highlands wind farm. "It increases the amount of renewable resources in our energy mix and further diversifies our overall generation portfolio, while also assisting our members to meet their obligations under state renewable portfolio standards," said Brad Nebergall, senior vice president of Tri-State G&T.
