Family physicians hope for full Medicaid expansions

Family physicians in states that had considered a partial Medicaid expansion hope their lawmakers will reconsider full expansion now that HHS has rejected those partial measures. AAFP board member Richard Madden, M.D., said fully expanding Medicaid to cover more people is important for his state of New Mexico and could lead to more health care jobs and a healthier population.
