Magazine lauds Fla.-based biojet developer

Florida-based advanced-biofuel developer Applied Research Associates and its partners have been chosen by Popular Science magazine as one of its top 25 science stories of 2012. ARA and Chevron Lummus Global joined forces with the National Research Council of Canada, the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory and Agrisoma Biosciences to develop and demonstrate a drop-in biojet fuel. The fuel was developed by ARA for the Air Force lab.
