Money supply figures brighten Taiwan stock outlook

The growth rate of Taiwan's narrow M1B measure of money supply exceeded that for the wider M2 in November, the central bank reported, boding well for the stock market. Meanwhile, the private Yuanta-Polaris Research Institute scaled back its growth projection for Taiwan, citing austerity measures elsewhere in the world and ebbing domestic demand.
