Budget bill to ease sequester cuts for 2 years signed by Obama

The White House announced Thursday that President Barack Obama has signed legislation that eases some spending cuts and offers an extensive outline for the federal budget through 2015. The Bipartisan Budget Act, which cuts the risk of another government shutdown, includes deficit reduction amounting to $85 billion while restoring $63 billion in total discretionary funding to some domestic agencies and the Defense Department in the next two years.
