Survey: Gluten-free, grains will replace low-fat diets in 2014

Consumers will ditch low-fat foods in 2014 for diets that include gluten-free foods and grains such as quinoa and amaranth, according to a new survey of dietitians by Pollock Communications. Consumers will be more interested in eating local foods, according to 38% of dietitians surveyed, and two-thirds said interest will remain strong in healthy eating and weight loss.
