Training center to offer battlefield and hospital simulations

Military and civilian health care staff will be able to train in a state-of-the-art simulation center being built as part of the Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago. In addition to a battlefield environment, the center will offer settings for intensive care, home health care, single-task procedures, emergency care and surgery. High-tech mannequins will serve as adult, pediatric and geriatric patients.
