The momentum for virtual worlds in terms of advertiser interest slowed somewhat this year, after too many marketers leaped into the medium without a well-developed plan. For 2008, marketers in the space will be more methodical in terms of making a concerted effort to offer quality content tied to their brands, according to Christopher Sherman, executive director of Virtual Worlds Management.
