Strike forces networks to make tough programming choices

NBC is among the broadcast networks that are carefully studying the kinds of programs they will produce and how these can be sold to advertisers as the writers' strike continues, according to this article. "The strike is forcing us to look at the way we all do business and to make choices that were tough when business was as usual," said Jeff Zucker, CEO of NBC Universal, which includes cable networks such as USA Network, Bravo and the Sci Fi Channel.
