SuperDimension technology seeks to spot early-stage lung cancer

Plymouth, Minn.-based SuperDimension is developing an electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy designed to detect early-stage lung cancer. The technology uses 3-D mapping software to mark suspected lesions in the lungs and a sensor that guides the navigational catheter and allows doctors to compare its real-time location with the 3-D map.
