Wal-Mart pulls plug on Web video download service

Wal-Mart Stores shuttered its online video download business on Dec. 21, less than a year after the venture was launched, due to a lower-than-expected demand for the service, according to this article. Actual DVDs still will be sold online and at Wal-Mart's retail outlets, however.
