Consumers activated more than 6.8 million iOS and Android devices on Christmas Day, a 140% jump from a year ago and a 353% increase from a three-week period earlier in the month, according to Flurry Analytics, which also reported 242 million downloads of mobile applications, more than double that of an average day.
