Apple devices used for 92% of mobile purchases

More than 92% of all mobile retail purchases in December were carried out with either an iPad or an iPhone, according to an analysis by RichRelevance. Overall, shopping by desktop computers still accounts for better than 96% of online purchases, but Apple devices easily outpace Android devices for sales over mobile platforms and are gaining share.
