High-school students learn about potential of STEM study

Students from Knightdale High School in North Carolina learned about practical applications for skills in science, technology, engineering and math at a recent school event to promote STEM careers. As part of the event, two students demonstrated a solar-energy project they are working on as part of a green engineering and sustainable energy course that allows students to become certified as electronic technicians or energy practitioners.
