Sunshine Act proposal discloses third-party payments

Proposed rules for implementing the Physician Payment Sunshine Act require drug and device makers to disclose financial ties to doctors through third parties, such as medical education companies, medical schools, disease advocacy groups and professional associations. The CMS is accepting feedback on the proposal through Feb. 17.
