AMD reportedly will roll out a low-power processor

The eight-core FX-8300 processor reportedly will be introduced by Advanced Micro Devices on Saturday, according to the PC Watch website. The low-power processor with the Piledriver micro-architecture is intended for desktop PC applications. AMD didn't comment on the report.
