Disney deal with Netflix signals change in business model

A Netflix deal for exclusive content with Disney may signal a long-term move toward marketing exclusivity over product breadth, according to Barclays analyst Anthony DiClemente. That might put content providers in a bind, as they have been double and triple dipping by selling rights to the same shows to Netflix, Amazon and others.
