Japan hopes to keep 3-year schedule for reactor restart decisions

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's three-year deadline to decide about reactor restarts is impossible to meet, said Shunichi Tanaka, chairman of the country's Nuclear Regulation Authority. Japanese government officials, however, said they hope to hold to that deadline and that units won't be restarted unless they secure the NRA's safety clearance.
