Lexington's Rupp Arena trades Coke for Pepsi

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers of Cincinnati has signed a contract to provide Pepsi beverages to Lexington Center properties in Kentucky, including the Shops at Lexington Center, the Lexington Opera House, Triangle Park and Rupp Arena, where it will replace Coca-Cola products for the first time in 37 years. The decision was based on "economic and marketing support for our events and venues," said Lexington Center CEO Bill Owen.
