NBF accepting donations to support research grants

The National Blood Foundation, or NBF, is accepting donations to support research grants and other initiatives that benefit patients and donors. The research grants provide funding for one- or two-year projects in transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. Since 1985, the NBF has awarded more than $7.5 million in grants to 177 scientific investigators to advance the field. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
