Craft distillers may oppose Ore. liquor privatization

Organizations and industries are choosing sides in the effort to privatize liquor sales in Oregon. The political action group Oregonians for Competition filed numerous petitions on behalf of the Northwest Grocery Association. Craft distillers may join the opposition movement against privatization, according to this article, as small distilleries were negatively affected by the decision to privatize sales in Washington state, says Oregon Liquor Control Commission Chairman Rob Patridge.
