Mass. restaurant contests liquor law penalties

Quincy Jade in Quincy, Mass., received a 15-day suspension from serving alcohol after allegations that the Chinese restaurant allowed underage drinking, service after 1 a.m. and liquor consumption despite having a license for only beer and wine. The owner of the restaurant plans to appeal the ruling of a local board of commissioners, who also reduced the establishment's hours, to state authorities.
