N.J. urban farm initiative receives grant funding

City Green, an urban farm initiative in Clifton, N.J., has received $210,000 in grant funding for its programming that teaches smaller community organizations how to establish their own garden projects. Any church, after-school or other community group can apply to receive up to $2,500 to start a garden project, as well as labor and education from City Green for up to two years, said Jennifer Papa, City Green's executive director.
