Santa Barbara County, Calif., vineyards team up to fight hunger

A group of winemakers in Santa Barbara County, Calif., are taking on a challenge to raise funds for the Foodbank. Leslie Mead Renaud, who directs winemaking at Lincourt Vineyards and Foley Estates Vineyard and Winery, organized the program in hopes of raising $100,000. Renaud is trying to hit that goal by Jan. 6 -- with 206 wineries in the county, she could double her goal if each generated $1,000 in donations, this article says.
