Sheep cloner urges testing stem cell treatments on terminally ill

The scientist who cloned the sheep Dolly wants stem cell treatments, even if not fully tested yet, to be tried on terminally ill patients who could possibly benefit from them. Ian Wilmut said experimental treatments could speed the pace of research and save lives, but the Catholic Church denounced the suggestion as creating "hype-filled hope."
