Study: Fatty foods may increase diabetes risk

High levels of fatty food in a diet can increase the risk of diabetes, according to a new study. Researchers say fatty foods suppress an enzyme that is important in the production of insulin, which regulates sugar in the blood, and the association could explain why obesity and diabetes are often related.
