Study: Sibling's heart problems increase heart disease risk

Having a sibling with heart disease can raise the risk of a heart attack, stroke or blood clot in the leg by 45% or more, according to a new study. Researchers said they are not sure whether the cause is shared genes or simply similar childhood eating habits, but they said the risk associated with a sibling's heart condition was even stronger than if a parent has heart problems.
