Renewable energy to light up Las Vegas

The green building movement is making its way to Nevada and the Las Vegas Strip with a new solar thermal plant in the desert and green subcontractors working on the multibillion-dollar CityCenter condo complex going up on the Strip. Nevada has helped push the movement by becoming one of just two states requiring that a certain percentage of electricity come from renewable energy, and it also requires that 5% of the energy must be solar.
