Mexico halts meat shipments from 30 U.S. sites, USDA says

Mexico has stopped importing meat products from 30 processing facilities in the U.S., including some run by food companies Cargill and Tyson Foods, according to an online notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Although the agency did not specify the reason for the move, the ban comes months after the U.S. implemented a new law on country-of-origin labeling.
