Activists: Google's AdMob purchase is anti-competitive

As the Federal Trade Commission considers Google's $750 million purchase of mobile-ad server AdMob, two consumer groups are arguing that the acquisition would stifle competition and endanger privacy. "Consumers will face higher prices, less innovation and fewer choices," the Center for Digital Democracy and Consumer Watchdog wrote in a letter to the FTC.
