Fed-up workers say unemployment doesn't sound so bad

Some overworked, demoralized and stressed workers say they're hoping to be laid off before the new year, because they'd rather collect unemployment and a severance package than continue in their jobs, Michelle Goodman writes. "Getting laid off before the new year would be a holiday gift," said one burned-out worker.
