Mobile usage more than doubles in 2010, Opera survey finds

Global usage of mobile devices more than doubled in the first 11 months of 2010, with users viewing 340 billion pages, according to Opera's November State of the Mobile Web report. That figure is up from 129 billion page views in the comparable year-earlier period. Opera co-founder Jon von Tetzchner noted that while big sites such as Facebook remain mobile mainstays, other sites such as Twitter and Zedge are posting significant gains.
