Abu Dhabi alters evaluations for teachers, principals

Teachers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will be evaluated differently under a new system that requires school administrators to assess teachers based primarily on classroom performance. Principals and vice principals will observe teachers in the classroom twice each year and recommend additional training and support for those who are struggling. The system also establishes more detailed evaluations for principals.
