Decades-old nostalgic candies such as Fun Dip and Boston Baked Beans are appearing on more store shelves as retailers tap into the products' emotional appeal. "I think a lot of it has to do with the economy," said Beth Kimmerle, chocolate and candy expert and author of the book "Candy The Sweet History." "People are drawn to familiar standbys around times of economic trouble. What a wonderful way to take a time-machine trip back to your childhood."
