Corporate spending on branded content increased 13% since 2010

Spending on branded content by U.S. companies has increased an average of 13% during the past two years, according to a Custom Content Council and ContentWise survey. Almost 8 in 10 marketers report moving from moderately to aggressively into branded-content production, with more than half looking to outsource it. The average brand investment in content stands at more than $1.7 million.
