Swedes quick to adopt smartphones, slow to use them for payments

Although Sweden is well ahead of Western Europe in smartphone adoption, Swedes are still wary about using their phones to make purchases at retail locations, with only about a third open to the idea, according to a survey by SBAB Bank. Security and the possibility of additional costs were the top worries cited by the skeptics.
