At-work Internet policies need definition

Employers need to have written policies about what they consider to be appropriate employee use of the Internet and e-mail during working hours. Since recent surveys indicate 90% of workers use company e-mail for personal use, companies may need to outlaw chain e-mails and define what attachments may be opened on their computers as well as setting time limits on personal use.
