Audiologist creates program for families of children who cannot hear

Molly Lyon -- an audiologist, speech pathologist and certified auditory verbal educator -- has launched a program at a Kansas hospital to provide instruction and information about treatments and services to help parents and caregivers of children with hearing impairments. The Listening and Spoken Language Program will offer instruction on monitoring children's hearing and how best to improve speaking and listening and prepare them for school.
