Increased security could boost business jets, analyst says

Increased security due to last week's attempted terrorist attack on a commercial jet could boost the use of business jets, says an airline analyst. "It is a preferred mode of transportation for people who have a high value of time and a high value of convenience," said airline consultant Robert Mann. However, increased security after 9/11 did not lead to a significant shift to business jets, according to the National Business Aviation Association.
