Washington state port project wins $2.9 million to expand railways

The West Vancouver Freight Access project secured $2.9 million in federal funds to help construct rail lines into the port at Vancouver, Wash. It was the largest federal allocation to date for the $137 million project, which will augment rail service for maritime and industrial customers.
