Groups express concern over FAA proposal

The Aerospace Industries Association and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association have expressed dismay about a Federal Aviation Administration proposal for the distribution of instructions for continued airworthiness for manufacturers/design-approval holders. "We are concerned that the proposed policy statement, as written, infers a rigid and absolute limitation toward any restrictive or protective statements within an ICA or other additional maintenance information provided by DAHs," the associations said.
