Keep up with your key customers' activities on social networks

If you want to keep tabs on your customers as they use social media, start by figuring out who your audience is and what networks they tend to use, Sandy Carter writes. "A common misperception is that all social networks are the same and therefore everyone is on the same platform," Carter writes. Then determine which members of your target audience hold the most clout and find out which keywords your audience is interested in.
