Wind project in Texas is hindered by Navy radar concerns

E.ON Climate and Renewables' wind farm project in Nueces County, Texas, could fall through after the state comptroller's office urged a nearby school district to reject tax incentives for the wind farm's developer. The comptroller said the project could force the Naval Air Station Kingsville to close and cut jobs. E.ON Chief Development Officer Patrick Woodson said the company will make a decision after evaluating the comptroller's analysis along with other economic factors.
