Bowling alleys spare no effort to attract kids

With now more than 40,000 teen players of both genders, bowling has become the fastest-growing varsity high school sport. The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America has spurred the sport's popularity by encouraging bowling alley operators to retool their image and by giving elementary school gym teachers plastic bowling kits.
