Facebook flap over removal of lactation photos

More than 80,000 users have signed an online petition protesting Facebook's decision to remove photos depicting a mother breast-feeding her child because they allegedly violate the social network's terms of use. Organizers of the "Hey Facebook, breast-feeding is not obscene!" protest last week held a virtual "nurse-in" -- in which female users changed their photos to those showing them breast-feeding -- and a few picketed outside the site's Palo Alto, Calif., office.
