Obama wants green, job-producing projects in stimulus

The transition team of President-elect Barack Obama is setting up strict criteria for interest groups that want their pet projects included in funding from a proposed stimulus package. The short-term projects will need to be environmentally friendly and "shovel ready," and will need to produce jobs. The stimulus package is expected to cost between $675 billion and $775 billion.
