Canada BIM Council advocates using 3D technologies in subtrades

The Canada BIM Council is advocating an expansion of the use of 3D technologies such as building information modeling by contractors who install duct work, piping, plumbing and sprinkler systems. "This ensures that what is being modeled will actually match what will be fabricated and installed," said Tom Strong, a member of the management team of the Canada BIM Council.
