North American passenger traffic declines 3% in November

North American and European carriers saw passenger demand slip 3% in November, while airlines in much of the rest of the world enjoyed an uptick in air traffic, according to an international industry group. North American carriers did see a 13.6% jump in cargo traffic for November, though air freight overall remains 10% off its peak levels reached in early 2008.
