Teacher uses technology to improve lessons

A North Carolina technology teacher is incorporating recent developments -- including digital videos and podcasts -- into elementary-school lessons. Younger students turned books they wrote and illustrated into slideshows for one project, and a group of older students incorporated a virtual-learning environment into the academic curriculum.
